Stromausfallentschaedigung, Drugs in the school and kissed badgers
Yesterday a letter came from electric utilities with an apology and the offer that all households that longer than 18 hours had no electricity, could claim back £ 50. * Smile *
ie, undgefaehr £ 16 for each, which should be approximately the sum that I have thrown out the Gefreirtruhe in the garbage. All damage removed. I have handed over the letter from the school because the pay yes officially the cost of electricity, and the Finance Office has been told me that they will look at it. I hope now, too, that we get the money.
Mietrueckzahlung of February (a week should already be £ 50 for everyone without fridge and washing machine, three weeks without a shower, right? Or, at least 30 £...) we have got yet, but I do not know Malcolm has addressed whether the time or has forgotten it. Must address him on it again ...

This year it is in the cafeteria only "healthy" things, according to a decision by the Director (or so I've just demand nciht). That means no chocolate, no chips, no (delicious) More muffins. And no salt for the fries, which feed the students are so extremely common.
No salt! British chips without salt just does not taste! (French fries without salt, just taste International nciht when I come to think of ...)
But that has paved the way for a flourishing black market leveled at the teacher's table ... Do you know those little Minituetchen with salt, which exists in every normal cafeteria? Are now much sought after. ;-)

One of my girls from the 13, it's pretty good, has a very interesting system to memorize vocabulary, expressions and grammatical constructions. She always has something like a "favorite phrase of the week", the more absurd the better.
Last week it was "I think about homeless, according to my roof."
After you have this week "I would love to" teach, it is now:
"I would love to kiss a badger."
Actually, I find this method of learning great. Later I will teach my students a week and always an absurd sentence with a grammatical construction. Or should they even look for one. Let's see how the system works.

Best Time To Visit Mallorca
current!
So, Monday evening, at half past nine, we had power again. So 22 hours without.
I know I'm zivilisationsabhaengig, one must not hold me to that such a cruel way! My
I can throw away food. On ice, you can clearly see that it was thawed. And why was thawed, where almost all were still some that a new Kuehltruhe should manage to keep the stuff cold for 24 hours, unless you want the door opens?
Quite right. Mark was the first at home, and he wanted to save his dumplings, so he got her them.
Bugger!
Well, they would have 15 pounds to move now in the garbage anyway, I just phoned because they are in the handsome, brown plastic bags not lifted much better? You throw

Does Concrobium Kill Bacteria
power failure
Sunday night, so soon after the 10th
shrills Suddenly an alarm system going. At the same time, all the lights in the house. Class.
After a few minutes searching and confused three attempts to resist better knowledge to turn the light switch, then I find my flashlight. Thank God I have taken them. And since I recently dropped my CD player down and waiting to be stuck, I even had batteries left. My
Funzel is the only one in the house, and we do not even have candles, the only other that comes close to a light source, Imène phone. Well, maybe Mark has also, but the shows of the whole situation and make phone calls still heartily unimpressed. I think he calls more than myself, and that's saying something. I really wonder sometimes whether he actually ever calls to China. With the mobile phone. I mean, I did last week but so about 50 pounds of phone calls to Germany, because I do not want to know how expensive it is, on the other side of the planet ... But I digress.
So, it's dark, and I am going to the fuse box. Thank God I had seen him as the electrician had repaired the shower, otherwise we would have to look to now. But all the fuses are in there. It can therefore not be. Then I have an idea, and I go to the window and look out again. Well, the road is not quite dark, the houses on our side there is. Crap. It also meet a few people on the street, but they are not smarter than us. Rachel and Ben, our landlords are now using the Car home. Such a complete power failure, it would have been unprecedented. They had no idea what it was.
A neighbor, who called the power company said that say if it was something with the station, it lasted two or three hours if it is on cable, there are six or seven hours.
And what strikes us as a spontaneous? Right, the freezer. Since we currently store pretty much, because in the refrigerator just is not enough space for the three of us ;-)
Sigh, if indeed it takes seven hours, you can probably discard most of them. That would be with me the 15 pounds. I would have preferred calling. Well, is not so more ...
have long hoped that the finished until tomorrow morning. The showers work that is electric. Without power, no hot water.
UPDATE Monday morning:
No, it does not have got up in the morning. As we have so left just before eight against the house, there was still no electricity. Good Bye, Food. Hopefully it'll work
again when I get home, so entirely without electricity makes life namely no fun. And the battery of my laptop is already down to 78% ...
EDIT: Mark has left today to one's house, because we still had no electricity. * Sigh *
